Recap: Cheyenne Wells Tigers vs. Stratton Eagles

The Cheyenne Wells Tigers and the Stratton Eagles squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Cheyenne Wells Tigers had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a rough 69-14 loss at the hands of the Eagles. Cheyenne Wells' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Cheyenne Wells' lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Perry Chadwick, who threw for 134 yards and two touchdowns.

Stratton was led to victory by Brody Webb and Cyler Notter. Webb gained 115 total yards and five touchdowns, while Notter rushed for 221 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries. Notter hasn't dropped below two rushing touchdowns for three straight games.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Stratton's defense and their six sacks. Notter was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up 2.5 sacks himself.

Cheyenne Wells' defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Stratton, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 12-0-1.

Cheyenne Wells does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Stratton also has no future games currently scheduled.
