Volleyball Recap: Madison Comes Up Short

Madison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Chagrin Falls Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blue Streaks of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Madison was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-22.

Despite the loss, Madison saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kami Titman had 11 assists and seven digs.

Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Chagrin Falls, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madison will venture away from home to square off against South at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Rebels will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Blue Streaks surely won't give up without a fight. As for Chagrin Falls, they will head out to take on Hawken at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
