St. Thomas Aquinas is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They blew past Sickles, posting a 74-27 win. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 21 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Nate Accius, who went 8-for-13 en route to 26 points and seven boards. Those 26 points gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Clarence Westbrook Jr., who shot 71% from the field on his way to 18 points.

Meanwhile, Evans faced Lake Howell in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Trojans came out on top against the Silverhawks by a score of 63-51. Winning may never get old, but the Trojans sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Evans' victory bumped their record up to 23-7. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, their win bumped their record up to 27-4.

St. Thomas Aquinas was able to grind out a solid victory over Evans when the teams last played back in March of 2025, winning 71-63. Will the Raiders repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
