Basketball Recap: Waubay/Summit Takes a Loss

After flying high against Aberdeen Christian last Thursday, Waubay/Summit came back down to earth. The Waubay/Summit Mustangs took a hard 63-44 fall against the Warner Monarchs on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Monarchs: they've now lost four in a row.

Waubay/Summit now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Warner, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Waubay/Summit will head out to face off against Langford at 7:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Warner, they will venture away from home to square off against Sully Buttes at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Warner is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
