Volleyball Recap: Pleasant Grove Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Pleasant Grove was the 3-1 winner over Texas when they last played one another back in October of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Hawks fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1 on Friday.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Pleasant Grove sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-17, 17-25, 25-23.

Pleasant Grove's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-2. As for Texas, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Pleasant Grove has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Sunnyvale on the 15th. As for Texas, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Lindale on the 15th.
