Football Recap: Creswell Bulldogs vs. Taft Tigers
Creswell had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a 49-0 loss at the hands of the Taft Tigers. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.
Ezra James was a one-man wrecking crew for Taft as he threw for 218 yards and four touchdowns while completing 82.4% of his passes, and also rushed for 86 yards and a touchdown. James got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run and that went for an incredible 51 yards.
Creswell will be playing in front of their home fans against Sutherlin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Taft, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they take on Sisters at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
