Soccer Recap: Riverside Takes a Loss

Riverside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 6-0 to the Chardon Hilltoppers. While losing is never fun, Riverside can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 379th, while Chardon are ranked 106th).

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13-1. As for Chardon, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3-1 record this season.

Riverside has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against North on the 7th. As for Chardon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Madison on the 2nd.
