Basketball Recap: Six Straight Home Wins for Summit Christian Academy

Summit Christian Academy won the last time they faced Pipestem Christian Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The Summit Christian Academy Falcons came out on top against the Pipestem Christian Academy Panthers by a score of 56-44. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Summit Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Eli Patton, who went 5 for 11 en route to 16 points and three steals. Patton has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Chance Watkins, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.

Summit Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in five consecutive games.
