Football Recap: Canton Central Catholic Takes a Loss

Canton Central Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost to the Edison Wildcats on the road by a 35-17 margin. The Crusaders were down 35-3 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Canton Central Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Edison, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Canton Central Catholic will square off against John F. Kennedy Catholic at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Edison, they will challenge East Liverpool at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
