Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Newnan). They breezed by the Morrow Mustangs on the road to the tune of 51-20 on Friday. Given the Cougars' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 107th, while the Mustangs are ranked 328th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

A big part of Newnan's victory came down to the chemistry between Brodie Campbell and his top target Gus Anderson. Campbell threw for 198 yards and four touchdowns while completing 76% of his passes while Anderson picked up 127 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Newnan also got a significant boost from Jaylon Teagle, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 83 yards.
