Jordan-Matthews has gone 8-2 against Northwood recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Jets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Chargers at 6:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Jordan-Matthews' favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Northwood has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

Jordan-Matthews is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Graham on Friday as they made off with a 19-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Jets, who have now won eight matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Northwood's offense. They lost 11-0 to Chatham Charter on Friday.

Jasmine Wichowski spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and seven unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up nine Ks.

On the hitting side, Makenna Lux was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases.

Jordan-Matthews has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Northwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-15.

Everything went Jordan-Matthews' way against Northwood in their previous matchup back in March, as Jordan-Matthews made off with a 15-1 victory. Do the Jets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Chargers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
