Mount Vernon hadn't done well against Savannah Christian recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Mustangs won by a set and slipped past the Raiders 2-1. For the Mustangs, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Raiders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.
