Football Game Preview: Normandy Invaders vs. Westlake Demons + Official Tickets

The Normandy Invaders will venture away from home to face off against the Westlake Demons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for Normandy and five for Westlake.

Normandy's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Buckeye on Thursday. They took a blow against the Bucks, falling 42-0. While losing is never fun, the Invaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 498th, while the Bucks are ranked 76th).

Meanwhile, Westlake played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 43-13 loss at the hands of Rocky River. The Demons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-6.

Normandy's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Westlake, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Normandy didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Westlake in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 24-20 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Invaders since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
