Softball Game Preview: Ganado Indians vs. Corrigan-Camden Bulldogs

For the second straight game, Ganado will face off against Corrigan-Camden. The Indians will venture away from home to square off against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ganado will be looking to extend their current 18-game winning streak.

Ganado is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Corrigan-Camden as they made off with a 19-2 victory. Considering the Indians have won 22 matchups by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Saylor Bures tossed a big game, striking out eight batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in 11 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Paisley Hajovsky was a standout: she went 4-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April. Laci Holt was another key player, going 1-for-3 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one double.

Ganado hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in nine consecutive contests.

Corrigan-Camden's loss dropped their record down to 25-7-1. As for Ganado, their win bumped their record up to 31-5-1.
