Friday Harbor is 9-1 against Darrington since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Wolverines will face off against the Loggers at 4:00 p.m. Friday Harbor is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.

Friday Harbor took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Chimacum 18-16. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Wolverines considering their two-run performance the game before.

Meanwhile, Darrington hadn't done well against Orcas Island recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Loggers had just enough and edged out the Vikings 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Loggers have posted since April 16, 2024.

Friday Harbor now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Darrington, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

Friday Harbor took their win against Darrington in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 11-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolverines since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
