Basketball Recap: Merritt Academy Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Merritt Academy can now relate to. They lost 53-27 to the Our Lady of the Lakes Lakers on Wednesday. The Mustangs just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.

Merritt Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Our Lady of the Lakes, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Merritt Academy nor Our Lady of the Lakes have any future games scheduled.
