Basketball Recap: Grundy County Takes a Loss

After flying high against Lewis County last Saturday, Grundy County came back down to earth. The Grundy County Yellowjackets took a 77-70 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Loretto Mustangs on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Yellowjackets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 143rd, while the Mustangs are ranked 28th).

Grundy County's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Loretto, the win keeps them at an undefeated 30-0.

As of now, neither Grundy County nor Loretto have any future games scheduled.
