Soccer Game Preview: Philomath vs. North Marion

The Philomath Warriors will face off against the North Marion Huskies at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Philomath sitting on four straight victories and North Marion on three.

Philomath's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Cascade as they made off with a 4-0 win. Philomath might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Marion). They put the hurt on Sweet Home with a sharp 8-0 victory on Thursday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded North Marion with their most commanding win of the season.

Philomath's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for North Marion, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
