Volleyball Recap: Sycamore Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sycamore can now relate to. They came up short against the Milford Eagles on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Aviators have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Milford scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-18, 25-20.

Milford can attribute much of their success to Drew Ward, who had 13 digs and four assists. Ward has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last five times he's played.

Sycamore's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Milford, they pushed their record up to 21-2 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.

As of now, neither Sycamore nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
