Liberty Ranch won the last time they faced Galt and things went their way on Thursday too. The Hawks put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 7-1 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Hawks have posted against the Warriors since April 27, 2023.

Kade Lecompte and Cole Erias made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound, Lecompte didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Meanwhile, Erias pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Lecompte has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances. At the plate, Lecompte went 2-for-4 with three RBI, while Erias went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. That's the most stolen bases Erias has posted since back in February.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Vance Moe, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Liberty Ranch is on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 19 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Galt, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.
