Soccer Game Preview: Space Coast vs. Titusville

Space Coast hasn't had much luck against Titusville recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Space Coast Vipers will venture away from home to face off against the Titusville Terriers at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Monday, Space Coast was able to grind out a solid victory over Astronaut, taking the game 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vipers.

Hailey Thibodeau and Emma Cutright scored all three of Space Coast's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 27 goals.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Titusville, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They never let Eau Gallie onto the board and left with an 8-0 win on Monday. Considering the Terriers have won four contests by more than three goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Titusville pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 33 goals over those five matches. As for Space Coast, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Space Coast might still be hurting after the 6-0 defeat they got from Titusville when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Can Space Coast avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
