While Emerson didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-12-4), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They never let the Independence Knights onto the board and left with a 2-0 win on Tuesday. The Mavericks' winning goal came courtesy of Erin Webb.
