It's playoff time, and Leflore County had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Water Valley Blue Devils 67-47 on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won five matches in a row.

Leflore County found their leader in sophomore Jeremy Gilbert, who went 9-for-15 en route to 21 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Emoni Journey, who went 6-for-13 to rack up 16 points.

Leflore County's win bumped their record up to 19-7. As for Water Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 10-16.

Coming up, Leflore County will challenge Eupora at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Leflore County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.6 points per game this season. Water Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
