A Season-Best Performance from Adrian Sanchez Leads Glen Rose over Godley
Glen Rose was led to victory by Adrian Sanchez, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Sanchez picked up 175 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 60 yards.
Glen Rose's victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2. Sanchez and Glen Rose will be playing at home against Hillsboro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Braylen Benson Delivers Best Effort of Season
Braylen Benson produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Hillsboro to the win on Friday. Benson rushed for 104 yards and four touchdowns on only ten carries. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 57 yards.
The victory got Hillsboro back to even at 3-3. Benson and Hillsboro will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Glen Rose at 7:00 p.m.

Canyon Evans Dazzles in Glen Rose Win
Canyon Evans posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He threw for 309 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 30 yards. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
Godley's probably not too fond of Evans given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Evans saw the Wildcats), he threw for 214 yards and four touchdowns.

Dunbar was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Ja'Marion Garrett did his best to prevent it. Despite the defeat, Garrett was still balling out as he rushed for 175 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries.
Dunbar has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. Garrett and Dunbar will host Venus at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Another Game with at Least Eight Total Tackles from Jacoryn Johnson
Jacoryn Johnson continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his 17th-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least eight total tackles. He forced a fumble and made 15 total tackles (4.0 for loss), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long.
For the season, Johnson has averaged 11.5 total tackles per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had one forced fumble. This year he is already up to three.
