Baseball Game Preview: Barstow Aztecs vs. Eastside Lions

The Barstow Aztecs will challenge the Eastside Lions at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Barstow's hittershaven't had much luck over their past three matches, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Barstow's tournament run continued when they took on Littlerock on Friday. Barstow lost 8-2 to Littlerock.

Barstow saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colton Surprenant, who scored two runs while going 1-for-4.

Meanwhile, the third road contest was the charm for Eastside, as they earned their first road win of the season. They skirted past Vasquez 4-2. The Lions' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Barstow's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Eastside, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
