For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 6-5 victory the Titans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Landon Hammond was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Coy Lytle also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
