Basketball Recap: Shawnee Takes a Loss

Shawnee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Pleasure Ridge Park Panthers 70-20. The Golden Eagles lost against the Panthers in their previous head to head back in January of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 64-39 score last time.

Shawnee's defeat dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Pleasure Ridge Park, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shawnee has already played their next matchup (against Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Pleasure Ridge Park has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Eastern.
