Basketball Game Preview: Bronaugh Wildcats vs. Northeast Vikings

Bronaugh hasn't had much luck against Northeast recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The two teams will compete for holiday cheer at 8:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Bronaugh came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They took a blow against Jefferson Independent Day, falling 75-35. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 51-20.

Meanwhile, Northeast lost 67-43 to Marmaton Valley on Friday.

Northeast's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Bronaugh, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Bronaugh came up short against Northeast when the teams last played back in January of 2022, falling 35-29. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
