It was a proper cat-fight when Clay faced off against Green on Tuesday. The Panthers came out on top against the Bobcats by a score of 3-1. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Bobcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Clay was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 26-24, 22-25, 25-18.

Laney Shepherd paced Clay's offense, picking up 25 kills. Shepherd got some help from Addie Willis and her 34 assists. Shepherd also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Elin Shaw, racking up four apiece.

Clay's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Green, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-8.

Clay has already played their next game (against Glenwood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Green, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against East on the 11th.
