Thunderbird won the last time they faced Mingus and things went their way on Thursday too. The Titans came out on top against the Marauders by a score of 4-1.

Tyson Gorder spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits.

On the hitting side, Evan Kolesar and Weston Lewis did most of the damage at the plate: Kolesar went 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double, while Lewis went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That's the most hits Lewis has posted over his last ten games.

Thunderbird's record is now 12-3. As for Mingus, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Coming up, Thunderbird is taking a road trip to square off against Moon Valley at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mingus, they will take on Deer Valley in a tournament on Friday.
