Football Recap: Wallington Takes a Loss

Wallington extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 1-3. They came up short against the Park Ridge Owls, falling 34-12. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 20-0.

As for Park Ridge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 20 points in those games.

Park Ridge found their leader in sophomore Patrick Randolph, who rushed for 176 yards and three TDs on only 12 carries. Randolph really tore up the turf during one magnificent 75-yard run. Austin Jobst also helped with two scores in total.

Wallington has already played their next contest (against Wood-Ridge), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Park Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 28-16 victory against Bogota on the 25th.
