Sandhills Valley was outmatched by Sumner-Eddyville-Miller on the road and fell 54-4. Sandhills Valley was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-1.
Sumner-Eddyville-Miller's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaycelyn Hoos, who scored 11 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Taryn Arbuthnot, who scored 8 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
Sandhills Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Sumner-Eddyville-Miller, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
