Softball Recap: Farmersville Extends Winning Streak to Four

Farmersville entered their tilt with Orosi on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Cardinals 13-3. Considering the Aztecs have won 12 matches by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Farmersville's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Orosi, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-18-1.

Coincidentally, Farmersville and Orosi will both be playing Summit Charter Collegiate Academy the next time they take the field. The Aztecs will host the Bears at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Cardinals will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
