Softball Recap: Woodstock North Finds Home Field Redemption Against Sandwich

There's no place like home for Woodstock North, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against the Sandwich Indians by a score of 6-1 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Thunder also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Woodstock North let Hailey Campos and Kylee Anderson run wild. Campos went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double, while Anderson went 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Woodstock North's record is now 5-6. As for Sandwich, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Woodstock North will square off against rival Richmond-Burton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Sandwich is set to face off against their familiar foe Marengo at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
