Football Recap: Munford Picks Up Third Straight Win at Home

Munford had won two straight home games and Tay Starks did his part to make it three on Friday. The Cougars simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Brighton Cardinals 39-7 with plenty of help from Starks, who rushed for 200 yards and one score while picking up 11.1 yards per carry. His longest rush was for an incredible 84 yards.

Munford's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Brighton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Munford will square off against Germantown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Brighton, they will take on Millington Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
