Basketball Recap: Chipley Extends Winning Streak to Four

Chipley waltzed into their matchup on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Walton Braves by a score of 52-40. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 115th, while the Braves are ranked 382nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Chipley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Addyson Suggs, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten boards. Sarayah Hogan was another key player, going 6 of 12 on her way to 17 points.

Chipley is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Walton, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Chipley won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Bozeman at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Walton, they will also get right back to it: they'll take on Pace at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
