Okemos has gone 8-2 against Holt recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Chiefs will take on the Rams at 4:00 p.m. Okemos' pitching crew has only allowed 1.7 runs per game this season, so Holt's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Okemos barely beat East Lansing the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Chiefs blew past the Trojans 12-2 on Monday. Considering the Chiefs have won three matchups by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Holt and Grand Ledge meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Monday. The Rams walked away with a 6-3 win over the Comets.

The victory made it two in a row for Okemos and bumps their season record up to 7-2-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Holt, their record now sits at 4-5.

Okemos was able to grind out a solid victory over Holt in their previous matchup back in May of 2025, winning 6-3. Will the Chiefs repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
