Woodland came tearing into Friday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 60-42 victory over the Hampton Hornets. Given the Wolfpack's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 91st, while the Hornets are ranked 265th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Woodland's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jada Little led the charge by going 7 of 12 en route to 14 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was London Loyal, who posted nine points in addition to six boards and four steals.

Woodland's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.7 points per game. As for Hampton, they now have a losing record at 8-9.

Woodland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 50-34 defeat against Jones County on the 25th. Hampton has also already played their next game, a 49-42 loss against Union Grove on the 25th.
