Northern Nash had won five straight games and Myles Eatmon did his part to make it six on Friday. The Knights came out on top against the Southern Nash Firebirds by a score of 34-21 for which the team can thank Eatmon, who rushed for 234 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.3 yards per carry. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 66 yards.

Several Firebirds players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Camron Lyons, who picked up 46 receiving yards and a pair of scores, and also rushed for 72 yards. Jaden Hartsfield was another key back, rushing for 75 yards and one TD.

Northern Nash's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Southern Nash, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-4.

Coming up, Northern Nash will host Rocky Mount at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Eatmon and Cquarhion Mitchell. Southern Nash does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
