Soccer Recap: Florence Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Florence was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They came up short against the ALA - Ironwood Warriors, falling 8-0. The Gophers have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Florence's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for ALA - Ironwood, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-5.

Florence wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Crismon on the 13th. ALA - Ironwood has also already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Odyssey Institute on the 13th.
