Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marked Tree). Everything went their way against the Hillcrest Screamin Eagles on Friday as they made off with a 23-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won five matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Marked Tree is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Hillcrest, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Coming up, Marked Tree will challenge East Poinsett County at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hillcrest, they are taking a road trip to face off against Midland at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
