Soccer Recap: St. Paul Central Takes a Loss

After soaring to five goals the game before, St. Paul Central was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They fell just short of the Roosevelt Teddies by a score of 2-1. St. Paul Central were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Roosevelt apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

St. Paul Central's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Roosevelt, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1-1.

Looking ahead, St. Paul Central will face off against Visitation at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Roosevelt, they will square off against DeLaSalle at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Roosevelt will be up against DeLaSalle's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.67 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
