Volleyball Recap: Homestead Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Homestead was the 3-0 winner over Monta Vista when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs fell 3-1 to the Matadors on Tuesday. Mustangs fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Matadors since on Tuesday.

While Homestead ultimately came up short, they really made Monta Vista work, particularly in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 21-25, 25-22, 26-24.

Homestead's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-8. As for Monta Vista, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 19-10 record this season.
