Basketball Recap: Islesboro Central Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Islesboro Central can now relate to. They took a 38-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pine Tree Academy Breakers on Monday. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Islesboro Central's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Pine Tree Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-10.

Islesboro Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pine Tree Academy, they will take on Valley at 11:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Valley's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
