Football Recap: Nashua-Plainfield Falls Short of West Fork in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Nashua-Plainfield can now relate to. They fell just short of the West Fork Warhawks by a score of 25-23 on Friday. The Huskies haven't had much luck with the Warhawks recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Nashua-Plainfield's loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for West Fork, the victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 7-2.

Nashua-Plainfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Fork, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on St. Ansgar on November 7. The Saints' defense has only allowed 4.3 points per game this season, so the Warhawks' offense will have their work cut out for them.
