Volleyball Recap: Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

It was a good run, but Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 2-0 to the Menasha Bluejays. The Blazers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bluejays apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.

Kiera Adams-Mcintosh paced Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran's offense, picking up five kills. Adams-Mcintosh got some help from Olivia Kirchner and her 17 assists. Kirchner was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Plymouth on the 28th. As for Menasha, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Green Bay Southwest at 7:00 p.m.
