Baseball Recap: Atmore Christian Comes Up Short

Atmore Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 12-2 to the Central Christian Saints. That's two games in a row now that the Rams have lost by exactly ten runs.

Atmore Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ben Landis, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Atmore Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Central Christian, their record now sits at 5-7.

Atmore Christian didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-0 loss against Pensacola on the 7th. As for Central Christian, they will head out to challenge Pensacola Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
