Central won against Parkview on Tuesday with 14 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Bulldogs beat the Vikings by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 14-2. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by seven runs or more this season.

The victory was the third in a row for Central, bringing their record up to 7-9. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Parkview, they dropped their record down to 0-22 with the loss, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Central and Parkview could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings. The Bulldogs (ranked 245th) will meet Ozark (ranked 26th) at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Parkview will square off against Webb City at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (401 vs. 106).
