Middleton and Armwood are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2015, but not for long. The Tigers will host the Hawks at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Middleton is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their ninth straight games dating back to last season on Wednesday. They were beaten by Riverview 53-26.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Armwood challenged Alonso on Wednesday. The Hawks simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Ravens 69-32. The Hawks pushed the score to 49-25 by the end of the third, a deficit the Ravens had little chance of recovering from.

Armwood has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 78.5 points this season. As for Middleton, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Middleton was dealt a bruising 74-42 loss at the hands of Armwood when the teams last played back in December of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Hawks' Jayden Dryden, who shot 90% from the field on his way to 20 points along with six boards and three blocks.
