Smiths Station has gone a perfect 10-0 against Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Panthers are taking a road trip to take on the Red Devils at 6:00 p.m.

Smiths Station is headed into Tuesday's matchup hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Gadsden City on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Central had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They never let the Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. The result was nothing new for Central, who have now won five contests by four goals or more so far this season.

They hit Opelika with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Coco Meachum (2), Avery Longerbeam (2), and Addyson Gessner.

Smiths Station's defeat dropped their record down to 17-4. As for Central, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9-1.

Smiths Station was able to grind out a solid win over Central in their previous matchup back in February, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
